I've made it my goal this time around to update the "newbie freebies" list, trimming the fat and hopefully adding some new. If you have a store you'd like to see added here, please e-mail me with the information.

Freebies 4 Newbies
Freebies 4 Newbies is a circuit of vendors who have united to provide new avatars with quality items. All participants must be under 30 days old, and there is a HUD that will teleport you around to the participating merchants. Most of these are done with vouchers, however many are adapting to the click-and-check system; many vendors offer items from their store, however many are switching to gift certificates instead.
For the more part, I've been impressed with the quality of these freebies - there's very few vouchers I didn't use, and only one in the pack was no longer available (which has been removed from this list). Also, need to go through the note cards and get them added here. Yay works in progress!

Other Unlimited Freebies
These are places with freebies that don't have a time limit. Most of these places specialize in freebies, and some of them hold freebies from stores that no longer exist, which can be beneficial. This list does not include any "group only" freebies.
FabFree Headquarters - Offering freebies from many designers, all in one convenient location. Outside, there are low priced items available as well, though they are not part of the store.
Free Dove - One of the oldest freebies shops in SL, with some good finds if you're willing to dig around a bit.
Gurl 6 - Men and Women's Freebie packs are available. Gurl6 specializes in hair, however their female selection is much broader than their smaller male shop across the street.
Sn@tch - Free swag available, along with a welcome kit.
New Babbage - A Steampunk role-play community with a nifty little freebie box.
